After regular hours, you can leave a message at our general delivery voice mail.
Service Desk
George Mather and Cathleen Clark will greet you at our main entrance and guide you to our many specialized areas and departments. Plants being claimed under our warranty policy should be returned here. It is here that you will get your gardening questions answered and obtain written information from our free Green Thumb Guides on plants and gardening. During the busy season, this counter will be staffed at all times.
Call For Service
Throughout the nursery you will find "Call For Service" signs. At the push of a button, a recorded voice will call a sales person to that area.
Garden Store
Supervisor Frank Aceto is the person to see for all lawn and garden care products, tools, chemicals, fertilizers.

Supervisor Ron Piotrowski is the person to see for pools, pumps and ponds and interlocking stone and wall systems. He is also our expert on irrigation supplies and garden lighting.

Zena Colantonio is the indoor store supervisor responsible for a host of garden products and accessories. Seeds and seedling requirements, plus a large bookstore and giftware area. Zena is knowledgeable in tropicals and will help with your questions.
Danielle Cochrane is our Asst. Store Supervisor and Head Cashier.
Landscape Design
Landscape Designer Peter Stevens can design your dream garden. Consultation is by appointment only. Please inquire at the Service Desk or telephone the office. Peter is a graduate of Ryerson University and has won a number of awards for his work including many at major garden shows.

John Paul Lamarche is our Consultant and Designer
JPL has been designing since 1976. His designs and landscapes have won awards in Quebec and Ontario. He has a very stong plant background, and is extremely proficient in organic gardening.

Greenhouse Staff – Annuals
Frans Peters is the Greenhouse Supervisor and grower, responsible for annuals, vegetables and seasonal crops. Lynn and Lori ably assist him. See Frans and his team for all your flowering and foliage plants. They can help you create a colourful garden and assist you in choosing plants for window boxes, planters or baskets.

Donna Robbins, Janice Muir, Maiva Arget and Karen Dodge share the pleasure of bringing you over 3,000 perennial varieties including Ferns, Hosta and Ornamental Grasses.
Greenhouse Staff – Water plants, Tropicals
Kristin Basmadjian, Farid Rosta and Al McCormick are our very knowledgeable advisors on all aspects of Water Gardening, including the care of koi and maintaining water purity. Kristin Basmadjian also maintains one of the best collections of tropicals and houseplants available.

Kristin Basmadjian and Lori Buglyo are our herb specialists and grower, happy to share their special interest in this fascinating plant group that includes plants for flower, fragrance or culinary uses.

Our cashiers will also arrange and coordinate the assistance of our Red Caps in their distinctive red shirts and caps to help you with your plant material and in loading bulk materials and bagged goods into your vehicle.
