I am writing to let you know how pleased we were with our experience of Humber Nurseries Landscaping and especially with Peter Stevens. Being a first time home owner we really had no idea what to do with our garden. However, we found Peter very easy to communicate with and he was able to provide great suggestions and planning for our garden whilst also taking into consideration everything that we wanted. His knowledge and professionalism made our landscaping project a pleasurable experience. We are very happy with our garden and will definitely recommend Peter and Humber Nurseries to anyone.

Good afternoon…
I wanted to send an email and say once again how great I think Humber Nurseries is. It has memories for me going back probably from the first year you opened going there with my Dad several times a year and learning to love gardening as much as he did.
I was there today and several of the young ladies were more than helpful while I was in shopping for my perennial garden. I couldn’t ask for nicer, yet completely unobtrusive help.
I would also like to compliment and thank the young lady who helped clean up my finger and bandage me up after I cut my finger as I was leaving (I feel really bad that I did not get her name). The ladies at the front desk inside the main building were concerned, helpful and thorough in responding to my request for a tissue. They insisted that I not leave before they very thoroughly cleaned the cut and applied a bandage. That is GREAT service and something not seen very often in today’s retail environment.
Please pass along my thanks, once again, to these very thoughtful young ladies. You must take pride in associates like that!

P.S. As I was loading my truck to leave a young man came over and without asking helped me load the purchases and thank me for shopping at Humber… gawd, I love that place !!!!!

Hello Peter,
Your choice of the hydrangeas for the balcony is perfect. In full bloom now, there are very distinct pink, blue, violet and white blooms, all on the same plant.
Truly spectacular. Thank you!
Could you tell me what this multicoloured variety is called?
Also, when a stem finishes flowering, do I cut the stem back or just cut off the blossom to encourage further flowering?

Selection is unique
New garden on a 1 1/2 acre property If you are not your usual impatiens and geranium gardener go to Humber, they have everything under the sun in a way of perennials and very unusual annuals. I can spend all day there. They are a bit pricey but only buy the flowers you cannot find anywhere else.

I found their staff quite informative
Plants, Trees and Gardening Supplies We live in the Northwest end and use Humber Nurseries for the beautification of our property and have found that their products are beyond reproach. Their staff is well informed and eager to help when the need arises. I find their products are somewhat pricey but their quality superb.

Front walkway Humber supplied the stone and material for my front walk. They had a good selection and price was good . They helped me decide what style of pavers I needed and helped with the design. Delivery was good. They also have a great selection of pond supplies which we need throughout the year.

Humber Nurseries has Variety
Balcony Plants. This place has amazing choice. Plants, annuals and perennials, trees, garden furniture, fish, ponds and even a butterfly area. It is overwhelming and the staff are real experts. I have been going here for years to find new and familar plants.

First rate landscaping service
Landscape design and installation. We used Humber's landscape design service. Peter was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We were very pleased with the service so we hired Humber to install the landscaping, which involved the removal of several small trees and the preparation and planting of 5 separate beds around the front of the property. Peter and the crew who did the planting also gave lots of advice regarding the plants in other areas of the property. We are delighted with the result and will use their services again.

Landscaping. I booked a Landscape Consultation at Humber Nurseries with one of their award winning designers. I was impressed with their knowledge and understanding of what I wanted my home to look like. Humber came out and did the landscaping also and now Im the envy of my street! Thanks Humber!
